There are so many places in the Middle East for teachers to work in: Qatar, Doha, Saudi Arabia, The UAE, Oman and Bahrain. Teachers are offered highly competitive (often tax-free) salaries and a long list of benefits. Below, we have detailed the average package available to teachers in The Middle East as well as the requirements needed to apply:

PACKAGE BREAKDOWN:

  • Salaries range from the equivalent of R30 000 – R50 000 per month (amounts are dependent on experience, qualification and the position applied for)
  • Free furnished accommodation
  • Annual return flights
  • Two year contract with an end of service bonus
  • Medical insurance
  • Professional development opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE

  • A Bachelor Degree of Education (B.Ed)

OR

  • A Bachelor Degree of Art (BA) with a Post-graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE)

AND

  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience
    in the same phase as your major (
    Most, if not all, of our vacancies are in Early Childhood Development / Foundation Phase / Intermediate Phase)

If you do not meet the above requirements, our clients will not be able to get you a work permit.
